Red lentil curry or ‘Dal’ as it is called in the Cape Malay circles, is a staple in most Indian cuisines. It is high in protein, easy to prepare and makes for a filling, hearty and healthy main or side dish.
Mutton curry is one of the favourite curry recipes in South Africa. Made from mutton or lamb, the curry has a rich gravy thickened with soft potatoes which are often referred as ‘gravy soakers’ in South Africa.
